First: M Toguchi Body Shop did a beautiful job at restoring my 2023 Kia Sorento to it's original state...
With that in mind... it did take a while to get my car back... not Toguchi's fault, but with the complicated electronic sensors in the back, and getting the wrong parts from Kia... in the end, I'm very happy with the results and would recommend working with them.

Service Communicators were great and they did an awesome job on the body work. Only negative was there was a blue shop rag left in the bed of the Truck and some Window Trim cuttings left on the driver Seat. Also a very strong odor from possibly bondo or paint. Its to be expected but could maybe recommend using disposable Floor mat pads or interior covers to minimize exposure and Reduce lingering smell.

Quality of the repair work perfnormed on my vehicle was exceptional, timeline of the service was on point, the professionalism and communication of the staff was excellent. I would highly recommend M Toguchi Body Shop to others.

I had my car repaired, I was very happy with the outcome. They did a great job! The car looks new! PM I’d like to personally, thank Gavin, my adjuster. He was very helpful and considerate regarding my schedule for drop off and pickup. I was impressed with his customer service.

Toguchi and their guy Davin were fast, flexible and friendly. It was around the holidays so some flexibility was needed to accommodate us. The young woman at the front desk went above and beyond to get an employee to drive us to the car rental place when the car rental place was slow to answer the phone for a shuttle. I highly recommend Toguchi.

This review is long overdue, but I had bodywork done by Todd and his team at M Toguchi and couldn’t have had a better experience. I was initially brought to them because they’re the only shop on the island that accepts Allstate (the insurance of the person who hit me), and I feel very lucky to have crossed paths with their business.

Todd went above and beyond throughout the entire process. He was an excellent communicator via email, phone, and in person, handled everything with Allstate, and made it very clear what I needed to do and when. He turned what could have been a stressful situation into an easy, well-cared-for experience. My car looks good as new, and I’ve had zero issues since the repairs were completed about a year and a half ago.

To give an example of how thoughtful Todd and his team are: they let me know early on that the aftermarket pinstripe on my car would be nearly impossible to recreate unless I returned to the original mainland dealership - and even then, only if the same pinstriper was still there. Todd still went out of his way to call another local business to explore options. When I ultimately decided not to redo the pinstripe and instead asked about removing it from the rest of the car for consistency, Todd and his team removed it free of charge. The result looks incredible - you’d never notice unless I pointed it out.

M Toguchi truly sets the standard for customer service on the island. I hope I don’t need bodywork again anytime soon, but if I do, I won’t hesitate to call them. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

Amazing service, including a drop off and pick up at airport (they worked on my car while I was traveling). Work is excellent, cannot recommend them enough!

My brand new truck was sideswiped by a reckless driver and it made me sick. The insurance company game me several choices for a shop to do the repairs and I chose M Toguchi based on extensive research and reviews. I couldn’t be happier with these guys. Great communication and even better work. My truck looks brand new again. Highly recommended. If I need a body shop in the future I would definitely be going back to these guys.

M Toguchi Body Shop Inc., exceeded my expectation. Found out from experience that not only do they care for your vehicle, but also your preferences, time & needs. My Dad got his truck worked on by them a month before I did & the process was so smooth & perfect. So when it was time for my vehicle to get work done on, I knew right away exactly who to go to. Davin was such an amazing person to work with. He was very responsive, attentive to details & listened/answered all my questions & most importantly- he kept me updated throughout the entire process making him so trustworthy. They valued my time & catered to it. Davin even offered staying back 2 hours after shop hours so I can pick up my vehicle straight from work. No wonder why they have a wait time to get an estimate or body work done, it’s because they’re everyone’s favorite. 10/10 would most definitely recommend. 🩶
